Call for Abstracts: 6th World Conference on Research Integrity

The 6th World Conference on Research Integrity (WCRI) to be held on June 2-5, 2019 in Hong Kong.

The WCRI is the largest and most significant international conference on research integrity. Since the first conference in Lisbon in 2007, it has given researchers, teachers, funding agencies, government officials, journal editors, senior administrators, and research students opportunities to share experiences and to discuss and promote integrity in research. The conference is now a biennial event, and the University of Hong Kong and RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia are proud to co-organize the next world conference.

Abstract submission is now open with a deadline of October 15, 2018.

There is no limit to the number of abstracts that you may submit and the abstract must be submitted in English. All oral and poster presentations must be given in English and no translation service will be provided during the conference.

  • Measures to improve transparency in research
  • Replication, reproducibility and research waste
  • Managing research misconduct
  • Responsible conduct of research education
  • Impact of cultural differences in fostering research
  • Integrity in innovation and impact
  • Assessment of research and researchers
  • Any other topics relevant to the conference theme

Presentation Preference

  • Oral presentations will be made during concurrent sessions. Each presentation will be 10 minutes plus 5 minutes for discussion, subject to the final decision of the 6th WCRI Programme Committee.
  • Posters will be displayed during the conference. At least one of the authors, preferably the first author, is expected to be in attendance during the poster session(s).
