Kristin Shrader-Frechette is the O'Neill Family Professor in the Department of Biological Sciences and the Department of Philosophy at the University of Notre Dame, where she also directs the Center for Environmental Justice and Children's Health. For 28 years, the US NSF has funded her research. She is author of 400 journal articles and 16 books---translated into 13 languages.
