The Security and Sustainability Forum hosts a free Adaptation Webinar Series designed to assist managers, decision makers, and professionals from government, industry, and academia to better understand and promote effective measures to adapt to the complexities of a changing climate. Its third event of the Adaptation and National Security Series entitled Infrastructure Adaptations in a Changing Climate was held on September 28, 2010. Lynn Scarlett moderated the session. She is the Co-Director of Resources for the Future’s Center for the Management of Ecological Wealth and former Deputy Secretary of DOI. The session included three speakers listed here:
Juan Lucena, an audience member and co-principal investigator in the Climate Change Educational Partnership, then asked each speaker to address what kinds of knowledge, skills and attributes the next generation of engineers involved in infrastructure adaptation to climate change need to learn.
