    EGAIS - The Ethical GovernAnce of emergIng technologieS: New Governance Perspectives for Integrating Ethics into Technical Development Projects and Applications is a 3 year project (2009-2011) funded by the European Commission (Science in Society - VII FP). The aim of this project is to investigate ethical governance procedures in EU research projects with the objective of developing a framework for improved governance mechanisms that will allow the early identification of potential ethical issues arising from the development of new and emerging technologies, moreover supporting the integration of ethical considerations of governance into the research and technology development culture of EU research. Publications include a magazine, newsletters, and individual presentations and papers.
