Giving a Disappointing Rating: Answer D
During his annual review, a salaried employee states that he
is disappointed in your rating of him, particularly in light of
the fact that during the year he was never told that he was not
doing excellently. How do you reply?
Answer D: "You understand only a specified and small
percentage can be graded 'outstanding' and 'excellent'."
Lockheed Martin's Comment: -5 points
That may be, but it still gives the employee no information
as to how he is doing and why.
