Celia B. Fisher

Celia B. Fisher, Ph.D., Marie Ward Doty Professor of Psychology and Director of the Fordham University Center for Ethics Education (www.fordhamethics.org) has served as Chair of the Environmental Protection Agency's Human Subjects Review Board (HSRB), member of the DHHS Secretary's Advisory Committee on Human Research Protections (SACHRP) and Co-Chair of the SACHRP Subcommittee on Research Involving Children, Chair of the American Psychological Asssociation's Ethics Code Task Force, has obtained grants from NIDA, NSF, NICHD, and ORI to conduct research on research ethics and is the author of over 100 publications, the book Decoding the Ethics Code: A Practical Guide for Psychologists 2nd Edition (Sage Publications), co-editor of 7 books including The Handbook of Ethical Research with Ethnocultural Populations and Research with High Risk Populations.
