Call for Papers
20th International Conference on Ethics Across the Curriculum

Rochester Institute of Technology
October 11-13, 2018

Theme: Ethics in STEM, Technology, Design and Engineering

This conference welcomes abstracts and papers addressing any aspect of teaching ethics across the curriculum, but of special interest this year are those on how to integrate ethical considerations into STEM courses and courses in technology, design, and engineering. It is standard to add an ethics course to the curriculum or an extra week to an already crowded syllabus, but we are interested in whether, and how, ethics can be integrated into the subject matter of such courses — taught in teaching the usual syllabus.

Submissions may include papers or abstracts (250 words). Session formats include papers, panels, case studies, and pedagogical demonstrations. Presentations are 20-25 minutes, with 5-10 more for Q&A. Format submissions for blind review and submit by September 1, 2018 via EasyChair at the conference website given below. Only one submission per participant will be accepted to ensure room for as many participants as possible.

Go to rit.edu/cla/ethics/seac/conferences.html for additional information and the link for submissions. Contact Wade Robison (RIT) for further information.
