Abstract of "Science and Engineering Programs: On Target for Women?"

This compilation of articles updates topics addressed in
Women in Science and Engineering: Increasing Their
Numbers in the 1990s (1991). Each article has its own
abstract, written and summarized by MIT students. Each chapter
cites research and suggestions to correct historical trends of
low female participation in science and engineering often
provides graphs and tables of information on the particular
chapter's area of focus.
